This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the The Effing Foundation website. On some pages, you can register to receive additional information and you can make a monetary donation to support the Foundation. The types of personal information collected on these pages are:

  • Payment information
  • Personal background and project information (for the grant program)

 

The Way We Use Information

We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive or to contact you related to the site or to the Effing Foundation for Sex-Positivity, Inc. Your email address is not used for any other purpose and is not shared with outside parties.

The Effing Foundation uses does not store, share, or sell your credit card or other payment information. We may ask for permission to list you as a Donor in online and/or print publications (either anonymously or under whatever name or monicker you prefer). We may use your name and mailing address to contact you related to your support of the Effing Foundation. Your name and mailing address are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

Any information you submit to us as part of our grant program "Call for Projects" online survey will not be shared outside of our organization aside from summary demographic data (data that is not personally identifiable). 

Your survey response (and full grant application, if you are selected to submit one) will only be available to individuals within our organization on a need-to-know basis: only the people who are directly responsible for reviewing surveys/applications will have access to it.

If you are invited to submit a full grant application, the materials contained in that application will not be shared outside of our organization without your express written consent. If we identify an excerpt from your application that we would like to share, we will make a request to you in writing (e-mail) exactly what we would like to share and with whom; we will not share it unless you agree to our request.
